Give the recipient a reason to respond
Explain what you need or offer, the relevant location, the expected scope and the timing. A specific proposal is more useful than the same general message sent to unrelated companies. Recipient preferences and platform limits apply to help protect the network from unwanted outreach.
Compare responses without mixing conversations
When you select more than one recipient, each business responds independently. One recipient’s response is not permission to disclose another business’s private terms. Keep the discussion attached to the relevant commercial relationship and use the recorded statuses to understand what still needs a reply or decision.
A practical example
A property operator needs a new linen collection arrangement. The request can describe the property area, collection frequency and anticipated volume, then invite selected suppliers to respond. Each supplier can explain its own coverage and terms. The operator evaluates suitability directly; OMNILION does not promise that a recipient will accept or respond.
From introduction to a commercial discussion
Register, confirm your email and choose the business identity you are authorised to represent. With the required paid access, open Business Requests, choose relevant recipients and send a focused request. If both sides want to continue, develop the proposal and approvals in the available commercial workflow.
A request is not an assigned job
Sending a business request does not create an Operations assignment, confirm capacity or book a service. Parties still need to agree the scope and responsibilities. Business Workspace document exchange and contract-file management are excluded from the current release; do not rely on uploading or exchanging contract files through these tools.
